Spence Crane Hire has been trading since 1983, with a large depot at Heathfield Industrial Estate, just off the A38 Devon Expressway. We are the main contractor for South West Water and, also, for EDF Energy at Hinkley Point Power Station. We currently hold accreditations with CHAS, SMAS Worksafe, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 9001:2015. We are also registered with Achilles. We run a fleet of mobile cranes ranging from 8 ton to 150 ton, along with Hi-ab Lorries, Spider Cranes and Mini Crawler Cranes. We cover all of Devon and Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, Bristol and Wiltshire and offer a 24 hour, 7 days a week service.
All of our operators are fully trained and CITB certified. We supply CPA Crane Hire and full Contract Lift Hire Services at very competitive rates. These include fully qualified Appointed Persons, Lift Supervisors and Slinger/Signallers.
